Meet Raneem Alayoubi, Pharmacy student
When NEOMED adopted remote learning this spring, Raneem Alayoubi, P2, returned home to Detroit. Alayoubi used her knowledge and skill at a nearby hospital to deliver critically-needed medications and IV drips, help transform an Or into an extended ICU, and answered nurse calls — all while studying, attending virtual lectures, and taking online exams. Meet the SOAR Student-Run Free CLinic
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the SOAR Student-Run Free Clinic fast-tracked a telehealth plan, contacting each of its 300-some patients to offer help to avoid gaps in their care and medications. This is why when you give to the Blue Fund, you give for your health.
